Statement of Inclusion

We work to instill children with confidence and empower them to live a life of courage and audacity. We hope their path to fulfillment is powered by love, gratitude, and genuine curiosity. To this aim, we teach children how much their lives matter to those around them. We also teach children how their actions impact other people and the environment.

We recognized that race, gender, sex, ability, language, religion, national origin, socioeconomic status, and other aspects of identity create barriers that impede one’s journey to self-actualization. We know that our acknowledgement of this reality will not make it go away, however, we also know that acknowledging those who feel unheard and unseen can be powerful. WE SEE YOU. WE HEAR YOU. WE LOVE YOU.

Curiosity First values and welcomes all people. Within our program we expect all interactions to be courteous and respectful. No person should be subjected to harassment or discrimination and it will not be tolerated. Staff, students, and parents/care givers should strive to build relationships based on mutual respect and trust. Those who choose to become involved with this program through enrollment, employment, or affiliation are expected to adhere to the principals set forth in this statement.
